Despite the digital revolution, or maybe because of it (depending on your point of view), Live Music is making a resurgence. Thanks in part to people like you, those who hire musicians, those who organize events, and people who know the fun of experiencing a live concert. We have experienced first hand the thrill of buying tickets, the anxious anticipation of arriving at the venue, singing along and dancing to our favorite songs, buying a t-shirt, and reliving the moments with friends...

As a musician, I know that it is my job to keep the "work" aspect of gigging from the eyes of the people who come to see me perform. It's an awesome responsibility to make sure each person in the audience has that memorable experience...

The old axiom in the music industry is that you will get better results by targeting an audience, and that usually meant declaring a well defined structured genre. It was thought extraordinary if an artist/band could get marketability in more than one genre or market.

However, the music industry is not what it used to be. As artists/bands are having to be able to market themselves, because of the decline of the traditional “A&R” backing, and/or because of the developments in technology and social media - Artists are not restricted by the confines that traditional genre labels kept them in.

Bushmaster featuring Gary Brown is one such artist/band. Gary writes music that he feels, songs based on things in his life and world that inspire him. His albums contain songs traditionally categorized as blues, but also have songs that are more rock, or heavy metal, or indie, or pop, or rap... Each...
