26Nov10 - Market Cross Pub

Gary's birthday was on Thanksgiving this year, as was our drummer - Jason Padilla.  To celebrate, Bushmaster had a party at their show, Black Friday, at Market Cross Pub in Carlisle, PA...  Several friends were in town for the holiday, and several guitar players/friends sat in for a solo or two.  I have put up the entire audio footage from this show as a gift to our fans on our podcast.  (You can also download/subscribe to our podcast on iTunes.)

Here are some pictures and video from the show that Trudi took...

23Oct10 - Brewer's Alley

Brewer's Alley does this cool thing during the spring and summer (when it's warm outside).  They turn their back parking lot into a cool beer garden/dining area and have bands come entertain the patrons and neighborhood.  This late into the fall Travis, the manager, kind of plays it by ear to see how the weather will be.  We got lucky, it was warm and nice outside, and we got the call to come do the last outside show of the season.  Gary played with Jay Turner - bass, and Hal Squires - drums, that night and several children got in on the act including Hal's grandson, Oryan.  Here are some pictures from the evening's festivities, and the picture that Oryan was inspired to draw about his perception of his "Poppy" playing with Gary & Jay.

09Oct10 - Griffin's Tavern

In between our two afternoon gigs at the Patuxent Nursery, we drove from Bowie, MD, to Flint Hill, VA, to perform at Griffin's Tavern.  We love this room, the people and staff are awesome, and we always have a fun time.  Gary played with a bass player that his friend Duffy Kane reccommended, Rusty Howsare, and local drummer and all around good guy, Jason Padilla.  Several friends and friends we just met there sat in on guitar, and a fun time was had by all.  Here's some pictures from the night:

09-10Oct10 - Patuxent Nursery

Bushmaster performed outside during Patuxent Nursery's Fall Festival on both Saturday and Sunday October 9 & 10, 2010, from 11am till 3pm each day.  The nursery, located in Bowie, MD, is a big place with lots of fun things to do.  There was a moon-bounce, rock-climbing wall, hay maze, haunted house, pumpkin and face painting, a train(like) shuttle, food vendors, and several other things to do and see in addition to the band's performance - great fun, great days!!!

These pictures are from Saturday's show. Our friend Tamra was visiting from Oklahoma, and several friends that we haven't seen in a while came to hang out and enjoy the day.
