Rock Over America Magazine is proud to announce the winners of our first annual music awards.  The winners were chosen based upon talent, the impact they have had musically speaking, and were all chosen after much thought, research and careful consideration.

Bushmaster featuring Gary Brown performed at Ram's Head Tavern-Savage Mill, on Saturday, November 17, 2012.  Among several friends and fans who attended the show that night were Aime Brayton and her brother Mystr Treefrog.  We are honored and blessed that we were able to see, visit, and play for Aime as she passed away two days later.

I wanted to share part of a note I received this morning with you:

"...Thanks for accepting my friend request, Gary. I sent you a friend request, last night (Election night), after a friend posted that he didn't care who won as long as he got his 40 Acres and a Mule. So, I made sure he received what he asked for...by sharing your video, “40 Acres and a Mule”. He really dug it, too!..."

 Last night we elected President Barack Obama for a second term as our Commander in Chief in the USA.  I just wanted to say thank you to all my fellow citizens for letting their voices be heard - YOU VOTED - it doesn't matter who you voted for, what matters is that you participated in our democratic system.  Thank you for utilizing the power that so many people have fought and died for you to have - that is POWERFUL!!!

Congratulations President Obama, congratulations Vice President Biden, congratulations America!
